CLIENTS

What is mystery shopping? For businesses and organizations, it's a prime opportunity to assess and evaluate your processes, products, services and customer interactions, based on the visits and experiences of actual prospective customers. Mystery shopping provides a customer-oriented focus and is a major factor in influencing and managing customer perceptions.

When mystery shopping is used correctly, all customers are treated as potential mystery shoppers, and managers and employees view the process in a positive and developmental manner.

SRC's strategic and individualized processes provide clients a daily stream of results. SRC works with you to develop electronic dissemination systems to get information as quickly as possible. Along with trending reports, SRC maintains a professional, convenient, and purposeful focus on our mystery shopping program.

Our clients currently use walk-in, telephone, combination, competitive, and elite programs to meet the needs of their businesses.

SHOPPERS

For those interested in serving as mystery shoppers, your role is to evaluate the products, programs and/or services, as requested by the client. Remember that you are performing a research function and this information is used by the companies/organizations to evaluate their programs, products and services. They count on accurate and honest information based on specific criteria. Understanding the shop and following instructions will help you provide vital, professional information.

Another important fact to know: never pay to shop! As a mystery shopper, you will receive a pre-arranged fee for completing your "shop" satisfactorily, based on the guidelines and instructions provided prior to your visit. All shoppers are independent contractors and are not considered employees of SRC.

As a mystery shopper, you need to be observant of your surroundings, since you will be taking mental notes of the factors and items requested by the company or organization for evaluation. You must have access to the Internet, as your reports will be completed online. You will also accept your visits online.
